Historic Preservation

The Heyward House project by Pearce Scott Architects is a historical preservation effort in Old Town Bluffton, focused on restoring one of the area’s few remaining antebellum homes. Built in 1841, the timber-framed Carolina Farmhouse now serves as a welcome center and museum. The firm’s renovation of the second floor ensures continued public use while honoring the structure’s architectural and cultural heritage.
